Data sources and rights

How Asmaliana records provenance, review, validity, permitted uses, restrictions, and revocation across every public representation.

Current source

The current reviewed revision contains 57 public source records. Each fact is filtered by the source permissions recorded for its delivery surface.

Structured place identities use Wikidata CC0. Operational tags for selected places use OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL 1.0; attribution and share-alike obligations apply.

Official ticket source: selected museum hours and ticket tables come from Perbadanan Muzium Melaka (PERZIM). We publish only factual ticket groups, Malaysian/non-Malaysian adult and child amounts, Tuesday–Sunday 09:00–17:30 hours, and 16:30 last admission. Reuse is recorded under the Melaka Government Open Data Terms 1.0 with attribution; images, logos, trademarks, and unrelated personal data are excluded.

MyTQA recognition: one exact MOTAC list entry for Muzium Sejarah & Etnografi (Melaka, MyTQA 1.0, item 89) is published from the official MOTAC list; it has no stated expiry and is rechecked weekly.

Live weather source: the production advisory uses MET Malaysia via Malaysia’s Official Open API for the fixed Melaka Tengah district (Ds078). The source is CC BY 4.0; every response includes attribution and the area-level limitation. It is not a venue sensor or safety guarantee.

Routing snapshot: driving intervals come from a dated, derived OSRM matrix generated through the FOSSGIS routing server over OpenStreetMap data. ODbL attribution is shown; the snapshot expires after 72 hours and is not live traffic or navigation.

Separate status dimensions

• Evidence kind: official publication, merchant report, independent observation, derived, or demo.
• Review: pending, reviewed, or rejected.
• Freshness: fresh, stale, or unknown.
• Resolution: known, unknown, conflicting, or restricted.

Rights filter

A public fact must have reviewed assertions and sources permitting display and API redistribution. Restricted values are withheld rather than exposed through HTML, Markdown, JSON, REST, MCP, or caches.

Revocation

Revoking a source or assertion creates a new dataset revision and removes affected facts from every public representation. Merely re-fetching a URL never advances checked_at.
