Today Team from Melaka are at Palembang Boom Baru port to witness the historical voyage from Palembang to Melaka. The start of the voyage is officiated by T.Y.T Tun Datuk Seri Utama Mohd Khalil bin Yaakob, governor of Melaka. This is to remind back the history of Malacca when the founder Parameswara sail from Palembang and encountered with a land with white colored skin mouse deer. Then he who sat at a tree call Melaka named the land as what we call now. Before that DMDI having a convention here.
The voyage will be using KLD Tunas Samudera Sail boat and will be arrived at Melaka on the 7th..
