Have you tried the get direction function at Google Maps 2012. I will choose Google Maps get direction function to study about destination that I will go first. For Example you want to go from Banda Hilir to Melaka Sentral. Very easy. Just open google -> go to Google Maps -> At your left (screen in front) you can see 3 option to choose sign – By Car, By Public Transport or By Walking.
Below at point A type starting place e.g Banda Hilir then the Destination (point B) type Melaka Sentral. Click get directions and google map will show you the way like your own GPS device. At the bigger map, google will highlights a line from point A to B.
When you click print, the details will come out to you. Road by road junction by junction until you reached the destination. Complete with total distance in Kilometer. Before you reach every point, Google will calculate the distance plus time.
In some places you can see a street view along with the route.
