There are many water falls here, I bet Malaysian know only 2 or 3 water falls in their mind. But for nature and adventure lover, there are tens of water falls to visit, maybe hundred waiting to be explored.
Water falls in Malaysia mainly scattered along the backbone of Malaysia – the Titiwangsa Range of Mountain. That’s why Melaka is not in the list of water falls, Titiwangsa Range of Mountain stop at Negeri Sembilan, no water falls in Melaka and you can found water falls again in Johor starting at the border of Melaka-Johor.
For example in Negeri Sembilan only, the state have about 7 main water falls. There are water falls that can be used as public recreation spot like Air Terjun Ulu Bendol in Negeri Sembilan, Air Terjun Puteri@Sagil in Johor, Air Terjun Templar Park in Selangor.
Waterfalls also can be seen along North-South Highway…pic from merahsilu blog…
There are also very extreme waterfall not suitable for public like many in the deep jungle of Pahang, Perak and Kelantan. For example the Air Terjun Stong in Dabong Kelantan – Maybe the Tallest in South East Asia.
