Unsafe but fascinating to travel…

Some of us often think country that had an Internal Crisis like terrorist, militant activities and civil war are very dangerous. Must be avoidable for tourist. Actually the country also have interesting natural places, some historic and listed as world heritage side by UNESCO.

Example, Pakistan. World know that the country have Al-Qaeda movement and recently the leader Osama Ben Laden was killed. Pakistan got diverse ecology and interesting history.

Another Example is Sudan, famous for it’s civil war for past years and the Pirates that hijacked ship. They got great nature wonders like the source of Nile river, longest river in the world.

The Blue Nile Falls (Tisisat Falls), it is said that Blue Nile contributes up to 80% of the great Nile’s flow.

For South America, Colombia is among country that have been issued travel warning by U.S government. Mainly because of terrorist threats and hostage taking. Colombia itself have 7 World heritage site by UNESCO.

Among all, Afghanistan can be considered a high risk (not including recent middle east issues like in Libya or the complicated Palestine crisis) because of NATO and U.S military operation there against Taliban group. Afghanistan got 2 site listed as world heritage area .

As the global scenarios now , many of the country that have crisis in past are trying hard to restore the peace and security to boost nation economy and attract more tourist.
