One company come out with an Idea to promote wedding as tourism attraction and to boost industries related to it. For example this event can be the opportunity to promote Melaka as honeymoon destination. So they decided to organized World Wedding Celebration (WWF 2010) that will be held on 5 to 11 December 2010.
This event will involve 34 couples that consist 14 couples from throughout Malaysia, 10 from the corporate and 10 more from other countries. On the Wedding, about 360 expo booth available to promote weddings equipment in and from foreign companies.
This unique wedding exposition is set to create a platform that is educating and entertaining whilst spreading the message of love, peace, harmony and unity to all the citizens of the world through exhibiting various and multicultural wedding heritages and practices.
The event is supported by the State Government and as been launched on 20th Mei at Dataran Pahlawan Melaka by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam.

Its a great event indeed for fellow Malaccan! Mainly to allow people to have access to consultation and knowing where to get wedding stuffs. My company is not participating although we are in the Pelamin industry as well, but definitely i’ll pay the fair a visit.
