Malaysia school holiday season is coming and as usual Melaka will jammed pack with vehicles from all over Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. The worst traffic will be at Melaka main entrance – Ayer Keroh Tol exit stretch until Ayer Keroh – MITC traffic light. Buses from students and travel agents will queuing at left and right section at both Melaka Zoo and Crocodile Farm. Ayer Keroh are among main tourist favorite spot because of the biggest Zoo in Malaysia, Butterfly Farm, Bee Farm and Malaysian Mini Park are along the road to town. Strategy to develop tourism places at state main entrance prove to be successful to pull out crowd but a little bit congestion from the traffic sometimes will happen.
Another massive traffic will be at Banda Hilir, the well known historical spot. On school holiday season, Dataran Pahlawan will scattered with tourist. Better find yourself the perfect parking spot if you are driving a car. Banda Hilir are included in heritage area by UNESCO. It is best to explore the place on foot starting from Banda Hilir to Jonker Walk or vice versa. New attraction near Banda Hilir such as Taming Sari Tower and Eye on Malaysia are not to be missed.
Getting to Melaka is very easy. Melaka are accessible by land, air and sea. Our neighboring friends from Singapore like to visit Melaka by land from Johor and using the PLUS North South Highway. Singaporeans don’t prefer travel to Malaysia by air because they want to drive more km/h on the Malaysian highway as Singapore have limited long road plus to many CCTV.
Access from air is available but limited to passenger from certain part of Indonesia like Pekan Baru, Riau and Sumatera at Batu Berendam Airport. Visitors from other part of the world have to fly to KLIA and take a cab or buses from there. It takes one and a half hours to arrive at Melaka Sentral, Malaysia largest Bus / taxi station. If you arrive at Changi Airport Singapore, expect a 3-4 hour trip across the causeway and through the Johor State. But Singaporeans can arrive here at Melaka more faster because they often pass the speed limit and drive sport cars like Ferrari.
The Cross Straits of Melaka Speed Boat…

Travelers by the sea often from Indonesia. Sea travelers use ferry or speed boat from Banda Hilir Jetty. One company that arrange all the trip from Pekan Baru or Dumai in Indonesia is Indomal Express. From Indonesia to Melaka by sea take about 2 hours.
YOU ARE MOST WELCOME TO MELAKA THIS HOLIDAY SEASON!

salam,
pertolongan sangatlah dihargai… terima kasih… 🙂

Kawasan Warisan Dunia. Jgn lupa naik menara taming sari dan eye on Malaysia. Cuma saya rasa semua hotel dah fully booked hingga hujung bulan 12…
