I don’t want to imagine it, but I know that there are people whole this kind of eerie stuff. It’s gothic and old, a history that prove people can be really nasty when ring so satisfy their heart.

The International Museum Day…

Did you celebrate International Museum day last Wednesday? Or you don’t know anything about 18 May…But It’s normal for everyone don’t really realize The International Museum Day on 18 May, not like mothers day or valentines day that widely publicized on the media and at shopping mall.

What differences between Belgium and Poland?..

Among the differences is the iron design. This apply to the antique design base on their country name. Belgium got Brussels Iron and Poland got the Poznan Iron. I saw it at the museum.

In the old days, they build things with the same function but distinguish it with other brand through the look. But today, same function like washing machine but with technology that other brand don’t have.

They are people who really like to collect antique iron. I only know a charcoal iron. Actually there are other type of antique iron like flat sad iron and spirit iron.

Islamic and Chinese artifacts at Bastion house

PERZIM / Melaka Museum Corporation is having Islamic & Chinese Exhibition until 15 June 2011. Although just a small scale exhibition, the exhibits are a very rare items dated from Shang Dynasty (1700bc). It’s a real artifacts, not a replica.

This are some of the collection:

Please visit the exhibition at Bastion House, Jalan Kota Melaka. Just next to the A Famosa Fortress. Time from 9.00am to 6.00pm. There will be entrance fee at RM12 for adult.

The Great Island got a museum

Its called Muzium Pulau Besar. Just open this year and operated by PERZIM (Melaka Museum Corporation). Open everyday from 9.00am to 5.30pm. As my previous post, Pulau Besar Melaka have been known for its mysteries and legend for the locals. So the museum will feed you the stories.

Melaka 1st water Reservoir



At the end of 19th century, almost all the population in Malaya (before Malaysia was exist) are using ground water or river. That’s why you see the old water reservoir here is just hole. Maybe for surrounding area or for the hi rank person at that time.

This construction was found when the government were building a road at the Stadhuys Hill (circular road from to go up and down the hill) in September 1982.
