Firefly chartered flight begining May 28 and after that Air Asia



Which air hostess do you find more capturing? firefly or Air Asia?

The first flight will be from Melaka to Medan. When building an airport, It will not be easy as like building a bus stop or a taxi stand. An aircraft does not simply land here and there to take a passenger and go. The airlines company must consider many things and strong support from the government is a must in this industry. They airlines also have bigger ‘margin’ to think.

As a state that rely mostly on tourism sector, easy access is important factor to Melaka. The flight can boost regional tourism market. Of course from a budget airlines. The tourist from Indonesia for example can cut cost the traveling expenses by flying directly to Melaka by a low cost carrier. Not to mention time saving. Even for a small state, Melaka have more that 200 hotels. Everything than bringing in the crowd will be helpful for the product owner.

KUCHING, May 4 (Bernama) — Melaka wants low-cost carrier AirAsia to introduce direct flights from the Melaka International Airport (MIA) to Kuching and Kota Kinabalu to boost joint capacity in the tourism sector.

LTAM Can Promote Melaka Health Tourism



First time the Batu Berendam Airport was open by Duchess of Kent, on October 1952. Now the new Melaka International Airport is open by Malaysia 6th Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak. Batu Berendam Airport once written in Malaysia history where Malaysia 1st Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman landing here in 20th February 1956 after successfully arrived from London negotiating for Malaysian Independence.

After 57 years of service, the Batu Berendam airport now turn into Melaka International Airport and the new terminal is located not far from the old terminal. The airport have 2 parking lot that can handle B737-400,A320 and four GAA. This new airport hope to increase the number of visitors to Melaka and investors especially the medical tourism.
