Paperless,paper less or planting the paper?


Malaysian effort on kenaf tree here.

Can we really not using any paper at all? For the moment no, especially in the office environment. We already heard about going paperless since maybe 10 years ago. Yet here we still using papers extensively. Just check your working desk right now. I don’t know about other countries.

So before we really going towards zero paper let just think off doing paper less or less paper used .

So what is eco tourism?

Riding on a 4 wheel drive and hit the forest ? No

Eco-tourism is more on ‘conserving’. Conserve the environment so that it can improve the well being of the locals – The International Ecotourism Society (TIES).

So when you think about to build something to attract tourist in an area that is natural, you must think to leave it as it is so that it will not destroyed by human development. If not with minimal impact on it such as forest cutting.

Are Our Tourist Spot Clean?



Yeap, that is the message form Tourism Minister Dato’ Seri Ng Yen Yen for Green & Clean Malaysia. As clean tourism spot is essential to the Industry, Tourism Ministry has setup an online campaign for us to post it up.

Post what? Post any discoveries of tourism places that need more cleaning activities. This is also part of Think Tourism & Act Tourism by the Tourism Ministry.

While the purpose is to highlight the ‘not clean’ area, you also can post excellent Tourism Spot at the website Hall of Fame. All the report post are accessible for all.

Go Green Slippers at Jonker Street

Slippers are famous in Malaysia because the weather here. Easy to wear it when hot or rainy day. It give comfort to your feet as your feet easy to breath the fresh air. Some say that slippers was introduce by Japanese during world war 2.

Ok this slippers here at Jonker Street sell by “Chin Collection” are made from recycled old tires costing only RM5 each pair. So you can expect such great grip if the slippers are made from branded tires such as Yokohama or Conti.

Go Greener Everyday



I think we already heard about the concern of our ozone layer is decreasing since we were kid at school. After decade of polluting the earth, now there are a strong move to promote greener initiative. The Go Green Campaign.

Although, if we stop smoking alone don’t affect much the global warming activities compared to the coal energy power plant or chemical industries release, just think it for our own healthy reason. Well…. because we live in the equator with tropical environment, maybe we don’t see the urgency of greening our place as other develop country in the west part of the globe.
