Finding The Hard Evidence



The Heritage Department still doing the excavation around Fredrick Hendrick Bastion. But no new bones finding after the last finding of Malacca earliest inhabitant. Actually it is part of the big fort. When the British destroyed all the mighty structure in 1806-1807, now they must find the other remains of the brick deep down. Imagine if the British did not bombarded the Fortress, maybe it will be added into the world list like the Great Wall. Fredrick Hendrick Bastion Found-New tourist attraction to Melaka

Banda Hilir June 17th, Melaka official newspaper MHI reported that an old fort from the Portuguese era in Melaka once being destroyed by British between 1806 and 1807 was founded. The Bastion, Fredrick Hendrick now being excavates, founded on the construction ground at an old Traffic Police Station base. It is believe that the bastion before was a control post build by Portuguese when invaded Melaka in 1511. Before this, 2 more fort has been found near to the A Famosa Fortress and Middleburg Bastion that accidentally found during the Taming Sari Tower development. Middleburg Bastion rebuild work is now near completion.
