Maa I’m like a model!

Last Saturday my friends want to take some of the scenic Melaka view to be captured on photo. My friends also offered to shoot the photo of my family professionally on various location. My kids love the activities and they are following the photographer on various historical places and shopping mall. It’s good to have your picture been taking with a heavy professional camera by the pros. Look very magazine. Will upload the photo when they finished editing it.

Today 13th Februari 2010, Menara Taming Sari will host SUKMA XIII Carnival Opening. The SUKMA XIII Carnival activities will be a one day program. Among the activities are:

-Sepak Raga Demo — 10 to 11am
-Magic Show — 10-11am
-Limbo Rock — 11-11.30am
-Demo from Malaysian Security Forces — 15.00 16.00pm
-Paramedic Demo — 15.30 to 16.30pm
-Teh Tarik Demo — 16.00 to 16.45pm
-Poco-poco exercise — 5.00 to 5.30pm
-Met With Melaka Athlete and Coach — 5.30 to 6.30pm
-CM arrival and official Opening / closing — 20.00 to 21.00pm
-Artist and Fashion Show — 21.00 to 24pm

If you love performing arts, then you will like this event. It’s hard to find a true full time buskers (street performer ) here in Malaysia. Maybe because the money is not worth the value of their performance or in certain place there are no suitable pitch (buskers place for performing their talents) . So rather than busking around they might selling fruits to earn more money. Except for streets in Kuala Lumpur where there are a lot of people in the street, more chances for their performance to get notice. Also the hot weather here not encouraging for the youth to start busking on the open air. Culture and Weather reason I guest.

Muay Thai @ Dataran Pahlawan Melaka

It’s rare here in Melaka, a Muay Thai wrestling. They will fight here at Dataran Pahlawan Bandar Hilir. Well now a fight even also being brought to a shopping Mall. It could attract the crowd as the unique sport like Muay Thai usually played at eastern side of Malaysia. So Bandar Hilir will be crowded this Saturday as they will be PIKOM PC Fair at Mahkota Parade and also MATTA Fair in Dataran Pahlawan. Be careful in high traffic area because now the air is full of flu. I think 10 people I met today 5 of them will atchoo! and atchoo. Bring mask if unsure of your health..

Searching for a spot…

Weekend at Banda Hilir as usual, crowded. With new building coming soon such as hotel and commercial lots, you can imagine the jammed pack traffic when all are in place. But State government already have a plan to divert the traffic jammed near future with proposed new public transport like aero rail. I am a bit late that Sunday to the MATTA fair Melaka chapter organized at Dataran Pahlawan Megamall concourse area, so zero parking available. The nearest parking space available is at the Equatorial hotel basement parking. With no 2nd thought we straight away to the Equatorial.

Round 4 National Paint ball League will took place at Dataran Pahlawan, Banda Hilir on 2nd to 3rd August 2008. 60 team will fight in this ‘legal’ war zone. RM38,250.00 cash prizes are to be won for competition that will be divide into 4 divisions, where by RM36,000.00 cash waiting for overall divisions champion and will be crown as Malaysian Paint ball League Champion.

The heat will start as early on 1st August at 3.00pm where all the participants will do a war zone checking known as “Walk The Field”. So guys, walk the talk by entering My-NPL official website here and fight for your medal of honor. Registration still open until 30th July.
