I have gone to Terengganu many times and the last time was early this year for promoting the Melaka SUKMA. This time we go there because attending a wedding ceremony.

Terengganu is a big state compared to Melaka and have a resources to working on for generate the state income. The big bucks from the Terangganu state is of course Oil and Gas. They got plenty of tourism attraction too and mostly on eco tourism side. They have many Island at south China Sea and a large forest that include in Malaysia National Park.

Ok I’m highlighting few Interesting spot that you can easily stop while driving along Terengganu.

Coastal Road along Terengganu..

Terengganu is main producer for Keropok Lekor in Malaysia, Malaysian know how find the best of it at Terangganu – Pic is at Marang.

Satar, favorite dish at Terengganu, made of fish and coconut. It is grilled.

Terengganu are famous for its Batik and wooden craft. They have branch here in Melaka Through Nor Arfa Batik. Pic is example of the wooden craft shop.

They got new art center at Kuala Terengganu and have weekend cultural activities…

Among the activities are local games like this…Cock Fighting…men version.

Tiara Beach Resort Port Dickson..

Kids and water can’t be separated. They love to play with water and never tend to boring them. With hot weather all the year in Malaysia, adults too like to go to the pool.

I have 2 kids. The most recognize theme park in Melaka cost about RM40 for adults and RM30 for children. So, if my family of 4 including me going to the theme park the cost will be about RM140. As we already used to that theme park, we decided to go out. Just add about additional RM20 from the total RM140 we can get a room at Tiara Beach Resort Port Dickson and also the kids can play at the Hotel Theme Park that quite okay.

Theme park At Tiara Beach resort is enough for the kids to play till they are shivering but still refuse to get out from the water.

In the morning we go to the beach at Port Dickson before checkout at noon. The kids was having fun.

Bring some money as the ice cream station just beside the pool.

- Class A ( 2WD Open OTR)
- Class B (2WD Turbo Open OTR)
- Class C (VTEC/ MIVEC Open OTR)
- Class D (1.8 NA OTR)
- Class E (1.5 NA OTR)

Winners get cash prize from RM800 to RM150 (fourth place). Hope all the crowd can really take care of their safety since the road is not originally a race track. Please stand behind the barricade. Remember also don’t park your car blocking others or at the housing compound. The traffic can issue summons for this act.

Mahkota Parade Charity Fashion Fun Walk which will be held on 1st May 2010. Woww….ladies! This is the time for us having the new trendy fashion, at the same time do a charity for helping the needy. Take the opportunity ok!!

Actually, Mahkota Parade is undergoing a major refurbishment which started from July 2009 and will end by April 2010. To mark the completion of the refurbishment, the Centre is re-launching with a fashion charity fun walk for Yayasan Toh Puan Zurina. This one of its kind event combines fashion and charity, where participants can make a statement with their fashion sense to raise awareness and bring hope to needy kidney patients.

Fashion and fun are the main theme of the walk, therefore, participants MUST be dressed fashionably for the walk. Ladies must come in full costume jewellery and trendy wear; heels are optional while men must wear colourful and fashionable clothing. Kids must come in colourful and trendy clothing. Traditional attire is also welcomed. This event is open to the public.

About Yayasan Toh Puan Zurina
YTPZ was established in November 2009 as a haemodialysis centre in Melaka that offers dialysis for kidney patients with low income. This dialysis centre is named after the Melaka Governor Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob’s consort, Toh Puan Zurina Kassim.

You can’t go to fitting room in online shopping..

Yesterday I’m going out to one of the hypermarket to buy milk for the children. The milk only around $30.. but I end up spending about $300. Instead of buying just milk when I’m on my way to the exit entrance, I accidentally saw a new boutique and have a look. As a result I’m buying 3 type of clothing (design) and 2 scarf. And I’m happy with it. That is what happen when you go shopping without a list but with extra cash or credit card. If you bring along the list also, as a women you can’t resist the temptation of buying other than the list because:

1) You shop at a shopping mall, not a specific shop selling fruit only,
2) You not bringing along the exact amount of money to buy just the necessary thing and not leaving the credit card at home.

Well, although now is the Internet Era, and many people start shopping online, shopping or window shopping in real physical boutique is not the same as virtual boutique. I think many people still like to go out in weekend visit some of the famous store with family and friends. It’s life. As a human, we must see, talk, feel, walk , snap few pictures and going home with lot of happy moments.

Remember the old days when our parents will bring us at the beach to play with water. At that time nearest beach was the favorite spot for all water activity. It places one round of adult slide, water jet tunnerl,water curtain, shower umbrella and water fall. The depth of the water park reaches between 1.5′ to 2.5′ deep.
