For 2011, Qatar Airways is the World’s Best Airline at 2011 World Airline Awards™ held at the Paris Air Show. If you look into the list, from 1 to 10, it is dominated by Airlines company from Arab and Asia. Arab Airlines like The winner Qatar, Etihad Airways and Emirates. Surprisingly both of our neighbor also on the top 10 – Singapore Airlines & Thai Airways International. But unfortunately our Malaysian Airlines System can’t joint the club because not on the list. Other from Asia is Asiana Airlines from Korea.

Malaysia free from bird flu virus

This country declared bird flu free since last case in 2007. Read it in the news here. Last month United Nation’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) reported the resurgence of deadly bird flu virus in Kuala Lumpur.

But the reported denied by Malaysia Ministry of Health because until now there is no new cases being found. Although no cases of bird flu, FAO called for cautious and heightened surveillance in Malaysia and other South East Asia country because FAO thinks that the virus could possibly spread from China and Vietnam. When America is having difficulties with their economy like nation debt crisis and higher unemployment rate,including some European countries. Some says that it will affected Malaysia foreign direct investment and exports.

I think maybe it will also affected the arrival from those countries. Like they are cutting their vacation spending to this part of the world. They are also busy to rebuilding their nation after the uprising.

Although I drive a Perodua but this news about free car check doesn’t mean anything to me – Because the location is only in Klang Valley and Selangor area when I check the myperodua Facebook.

Not entirely free, you must work a little bit to get the free 15-point car check. Just follow them on twitter for perodua tweckbot updates. Follow them when the team is nearby tweet your phone and address. They will come to you then. You can go to their Facebook and check it out.

Of course if you want to find a higher place for dining in Malaysia, there are plenty of mountainous place to go like Genting Highland, Cameron Highland, Fraser Hill, KL look out point or even Gunung Jerai in Kedah.

But if you are asking for a man made structure that are higher than your everyday lunch restaurant, there are also a few like in Seri Angkasa Revolving Restaurant at Kuala Lumpur Tower (about 276m) or at the Alor Star Tower (94m). Both from Seri Melayu range of restaurant.
