CNY 2012 and Dragon Seeding

I bet a massive traffic right now at all shopping mall because of Chinese New Year 2012 last minute shopping and the government servant already got an early pay. As usual many of the shopping mall have red decorative themes for the celebration. Red lantern big and small. Although this is a multiracial country , the local government also very supportive by hanging the red lantern at every main street.

Also there are many traders selling Dragon Seeding Plant to coincide with 2012 Dragon Year according to Chinese Zodiak.

Malaysia is among World friendliest Country

Recently Forbes has release a survey on level of friendliness among countries in the world. Among 15 shortlisted Malaysia is Number 10. Our nearest neighbor listed are Singapore at number 14 and Philippines at number 8. Well let keeps our warm hospitality Malaysian style to guest and visitors as always. We got it all, peaceful nation, economically stable and good law enforcement. So we just need to ourselves – More polite, warm hearted and accept every guest with open hand. Although Malaysian should improve more on attitude when driving.

Another animal classified as totally protected species in Malaysia

Malaysia have diversity of wildlife species and some of them are critically endangered species like Sumatran rhinoceros. Others like Orang Utan, the Malayan Tiger and Leatherback turtles. Now Borneo elephants classified as totally protected species in Sabah. So people who kill the Borneo elephants they face a mandatory jail term. Read the news here.

Malaysia for International Film Location

It will be a proud and exciting moment when Hollywood choose Malaysia as film location. Most of us will remember the Entrapment starring Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta Jones. Film like this is the best because many of the scenes featuring Malaysia recognizable landmark like The Petronas Twin Towers and Malaysia LRT.

Other that Entrapment, I think International movies that we can remember is Anna & The King, shot somewhere in Perak. Jackie Chan film Police Story 3: Super Cop, few others Hong Kong movies, Bollywood like Yaadein and Don 2.

The most talked about premium outlets in Malaysia

Not duty free shop in Langkawi, Pavilion or the one in KLCC. They talked about Johor now. The JPO alias Johor Premium Outlets. Just open on December but last week news paper reported that visitors complain for more bigger eating area. Shoppers come to the JPO with families and with the crowd size look like they went shopping at any average shopping complex.
