Malaysian International Batik Festival @ KLCC

Last week I went to Kuala Lumpur for unofficial program. After finished with my agenda, I went to KLCC for shopping and maybe my daughter can play with water at the KLCC Park. After busy finding a suitable parking lot, Me, my husband and the little one straight to the KLCC park coz we are planning to shoot 1 or 2 picture with Petronas Twin Tower as a background. When we pop out from Suria KLCC main entrance in front of the park. I can see booth everyway and a beautifully decorated stage with ‘Malaysia Batik’ writing.

Now I know there was an International Event here as the banner and bunting says its ‘International’. The Malaysian International Batik Festival at KLCC is held from 23rd November to 2nd December 2007 in Conjunction with Kuala Lumpur International Batik (KLIB) Convention and Exhibition 2007. This International Batik Showcase was Launched in 2003, to win the Piala Seri Endon batik design competition. The aim is to provide a platform for Malaysia’s batik making talent.

You are special and unique in your own way……

THINK ABOUT THIS:

1. At least 5 people in this world love you so much they would die for you.
2. At least 15 people in this world love you, in some way.
3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you, is because they want to be just like you.
4. A smile from you, can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don’t like you.
5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
6 You mean the world to someone.
7. Without you, someone may not be living.
8. You are special and unique, in your own way.
9. Someone that you don’t know even exists, loves you.
10. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.
11. When you think the world has turned it’s back on you, take a look, you most likely turned your back on the world.
12. When you think you have no chance at getting what you want, you probably won’t get it, but if you believe in yourself, you probably sooner or later will get it.
13. Always remember complements you received, forget about the rude remarks.
14. Always tell someone how you feel about them, you will feel much better when they know.
15. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they’re great.

Executive of Tourism Management

From 17 – 24 June 2007, I attended the Executive of Tourism Management at MITC Ancasa Hotel in Melaka, Malaysia. A Lot of friends from around the world such as Malaysia, Australia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Maldives and etc. They are Mr Zaki, Mazleen, Siti, Mike, Jeff, Memory, Opah, Mr President of Kenya…, Zwai, Rasheeda, Mr Salleh & others….to name a few. We spend 8 hours per day to complete the course. Basically, this course very good and you will get usefull knowledge & experiences about the tourism industry. We also do the case study & crazy presentation. Our lecturer from Faculty Tourism & Hospitality, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) where is situated at Sintok, Kedah. Actually, I also ex-student UUM. Hehehe…….But not the tourism student. Management of Tech (MOT) student. Thank you to our lecturer Ass. Prof Dr. Azilah, Dr Shaharudin & Mr. Fauzi for your interesting lectuer. Also to Mr. Donald, the WAY Secretary as the organizer & friends. Lastly…..TATA BABY CHERIOOOOOO…..(A Farewell Song From Zimbabwe Friends). I’ll be missing u all guyszz….
