From 19 to 28 March 2010, there will be a book fair. The venue is Putra World Trade Center (PWTC) Kuala Lumpur. It’s not just text book for school book fair but it’s an International Fair. So there will be many books from all sort of genre at the event. From the website I can see 6 hall at PWTC open for this event. So many books because 187 exhibitor from book publishing companies will open their booth.

Opening by Chief Minister of Melaka @ KL Sentral..

Yesterday / Last weekend the whole Tourism Melaka Team was in KL-Sentral on 3 days promotion. Place such as KL-Sentral is good for such a short period promotion as it can pull the crowd fast. Also it’s the center of people from various place around not just KL but the whole country and tourist. So they can enjoy the performance before waiting their Commuter or LRT. This weekend the team will be in Johor Bahru.

Now we are still in the National Craft Day Celebration month. This craft festival take place fom 24th Feb to 24th March 2010. But the sales, exhibition and demonstration are from 24th Feb to 8 March at National Craft Complex Jalan Conlay (Conlay Street).

Until 9/13 March to 24th of March, few shopping complexes and hotel are participating the craft sales and demonstration. The Shopping Complexes are:

Prime Minister Visit to Melaka on 4th Feb 2010

Today is a big day for the people of Melaka because Prime Minister YAB Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will make a one-day working visit. Melaka Chief Minister YAB Datuk Seri Mohd. Ali Rustam said Melaka will try to set a record by serving dinner to 50,000 people and it can be largest dinner function to the people in round table formation (about 5,000 round table). At that night, Prime Minister also will officiate the Dataran 1 Malaysia / 1Malaysia Square, an area of 50 acre land that will be the largest beach recreation center in Malaysia. Before that, Prime Minister also officiate the Melaka International Airport in the morning.
