MITC PC Fair…

Another round of PC Fair. Since it stop using Mahkota Parade as a venue, PIKOM seem doesn’t stop using Melaka International Trade Center. Well don’t need to say much about PC Fair, it is has been the recognizable ICT event in Malaysia for all ages.

When you went to PC Fail, usually you feel must buy something like a mouse because you can’t get the price at your local computer shop. So you know where is MITC, just headed there this 30th to 1st August.

Contemporary Arts Trail until November

I can sketch a picture and do some coloring, but for contemporary arts I still don’t really understand how to enjoy it and sometimes the price tag also – more than you think.

But for those who really enjoy contemporary arts, they can spend money on it and make it among high yield industry. So Tourism Malaysia think through arts, it will be possible to promote more high-yield tourists to come to Malaysia. The event is 1 Malaysia Contemporary Arts Tourism Festival.

Starting Jun Until September, art galleries from Kuala Lumpur like National Art Galleries and Starhill Gallery Participating. Melaka also included in the Festival at Folk Art Gallery (Galeri Seni Rakyat) Banda Hilir.

2nd Aniversary of Melaka UNESCO World Heritage City

7th July have past and Melaka still hold the title with no complaint from UNESCO. 2 Years now. Did you go to the ceremony? Yeah suddenly the Heritage area zone at Jonker Walk, Harmony Street until Jalan kota crowded with folk wearing fez, coat, big belt, riding a Raleigh and use paper umbrella.

They were trying to remember the era around 1824 when Munsyi Abdullah was around. Among VIP are State Governor and Chief Minister. Along this month of July there will be activities everyday to commemorate the the Anniversary.

Among the activities until August are Open film Show at Padang Nyiru, Jonker Walk and Middleburg Bastion from 8.30pm to 10.30pm, eat free sate and cendol -10 July,street soccer – 11 July, Joget (Melaka Dance) Melaka Fiesta – 14 July, Beca Parade- 20 July, Twist dance competition -23 Julai and eat local fruit in 26 July..

With all the disposal, you must create a souvenir. You must send the proposal of your invention at the department. Recycled and used items are like glass bottles, news papers, wire,tin cans or boxes.

The closing date of the proposal supposed to be closed tomorrow 18 Jun 2010. But you can talk to Ms Nur Hidayah at 06-2326694. You can fax your design to 062320024 or email to phykasso@yahoo.com. Your complete / finished invention must be presented at Dataran Sungai Melaka (Melaka River Square) on 23rd June 2010 from 8.00 to 10.00 pm to be judged by the jury.

And Melaka on the lead for Now. Gold are from gymnastic artistic and wushu. A good start for Melaka team on the Sukan Malaysia XIII(SUKMA XIII). SUKMA XIII with Melaka as a host are held from 10 to 19 June 2010. Road traffic started getting heavy here with traffic police everywhere escorting the athlete.
