Turtle have day too!


World Turtle Day
Apart from Mothers day, Teachers Day and Labour Day this May. There is a Turtle Day. We don’t celebrate it officially so we not really noticed it. But turtle day is well known for the nature activist like guys in the WWF or Turtle Conservation Society. World Turtle Day initiated in United States by American Tortoise Rescue celebrated in May 23rd.

Sabah is Malaysia most famous place for Eco-Tourism activities. Sabah got Great Mountain to Climb – Mt. Kinabalu, among world best diving place – Sipadan Island, Mabul Island. The rainforest at Sabah also inhabit by endangered species like Orang Utan, hairy rhinos and pygmy elephants.

Sabah has started an online initiative to protect the Malua Rainforest. Malua is located next to one of the last areas of virgin rainforest in Sabah, Malaysia on the island of Borneo. So preserving the ecosystem here is crucial for the future of the environment.

Bed bug free

Recently Melaka State doing a campaign on bed bug free. Do you think which industries is more likely this bed bug attached to? Usually hotels. We heard guest complaining about bed bug in the bed. Personally I think Malaysia don’t have a serious bed bug problems. Mostly Malaysian don’t have any bed bugs pesticide at their home. They don’t even noticed about this bed bug. We are more concern about other blood sucking pest that is mosquitoes.

For those who cheated Tourist in Malaysia…

They will face the tribunal. Under the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism, The Tribunal for Consumer Claims (TTPM) will ensure consumer right are protected. This also include foreign tourist who visit Malaysia.

This tribunal is an independence body established under Section 85, Part XII of the Consumer Protection Act 1999. The primary objective of establishing the Tribunal is to provide an alternative forum for consumers to file claims in a simple, inexpensive and speedy manner. So if tourist feel they being cheated when buying something, TTPM will help to process their claim without waiting for 14 days. No need to go to court or appoint lawyers as TTPM will conduct the investigation and claim as soon as possible.

Fishy Malaysia

Apart from the the diversity of the jungle, Malaysia also got rich source of water life. Peninsular Malaysia is surrounded with fishing spot because all of the State in Peninsular Malaysia got access to the sea although it is not an Island. If you don’t like going far away from the land, Malaysia also got plenty of fishing spot inland and some of it goes deep in the jungle.

Age 2-3 years also will be charged. At KidZania they say – ‘Get Ready for A Better World’. This is the place where your kid pre adult activities can be done. They can do major job and things that adults do as simulation and according to their size – Playing Grown Ups..
