Preventive measure at public beaches

Recently we read stories about children and teen drowning while picnic with family in Kuantan Pahang and Kota Tinggi Johor. To lost our loves one while we are having fun times together is really terrible for all of us. The sad memories can affect us for a very long time.

Malaysia got long beaches area surrounding the country from east to west. Usually beaches in west coast of Malaysia got lower sea waves than the east coast. East coast got strong wave and getting stronger on monsoon season. So east coast beach area are more risky because the open South China Sea. While west coast resulting more calmer water from the Strait of Melaka.

Your surfing technology for 2012

I heard many complaint about Malaysia Internet provider on the blog and online forum mainly about the speed performance. Some also said that our Internet price are higher than neighboring countries base on the connection speed. Well I don’t find out about that. For me I used both the broadband and telephoned line.

Base on World Broadband Penetration Rankings by Household here, the sales department will not worried because they still can sell more to the Malaysian..

I have started using the Internet since the TM home modem dial up with 56kbps speed. After that upgraded into Streamyx home broadband and wireless broadband from Digi. In the past 2 years we have seen more choices for Internet packages. All mobile telephone company offer their own Internet instead of Telekom Malaysia before this. Then brand like P1 and YES. TM net now going fiber optics for home user with Unifi. With Unifi we can now really make use of the Internet TV application.

Another animal classified as totally protected species in Malaysia

Malaysia have diversity of wildlife species and some of them are critically endangered species like Sumatran rhinoceros. Others like Orang Utan, the Malayan Tiger and Leatherback turtles. Now Borneo elephants classified as totally protected species in Sabah. So people who kill the Borneo elephants they face a mandatory jail term. Read the news here.

Far away bird at Ayer Keroh

I found this old article about Ayer Keroh forest reserve that attracted many species of local bird and migratory bird. The bird watchers from Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) have recorded birds at Ayer Keroh with a total of 126 types. Some of it come from as far as northern China. We have known toothpaste for generation. Toothpaste is also among basic things to be carried during travel. Other than is used for your tooth hygiene, it also prove to be useful as an alternatives to something. Some say that the toothpaste can cure minor wound and treat pimples. I do not recommend it, it depends on your belief.
