Another animal classified as totally protected species in Malaysia

Malaysia have diversity of wildlife species and some of them are critically endangered species like Sumatran rhinoceros. Others like Orang Utan, the Malayan Tiger and Leatherback turtles. Now Borneo elephants classified as totally protected species in Sabah. So people who kill the Borneo elephants they face a mandatory jail term. Read the news here.

Far away bird at Ayer Keroh

I found this old article about Ayer Keroh forest reserve that attracted many species of local bird and migratory bird. The bird watchers from Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) have recorded birds at Ayer Keroh with a total of 126 types. Some of it come from as far as northern China. Yacht Complex in Malaysia


Yacht at Royal Langkawi…

As Malaysia is surrounded by a sea from west ,east and north, of course there will be somebody playing with yacht here. To make it more interesting, Malaysia also have world class competition for sailing- Monsoon Cup. Monsoon Cup 2011 will be held on this 22 to 27 November 2011. Same place every year at Pulau Duyong Terengganu Malaysia.


The government through Majlis Sukan Negara have a complex for those who want involve in this sport – boat, sailing..Langkawi Sail boat/ yacht Sport Complex. Yacht Club are considered prestigious. So most of the yacht club here have a ‘Royal’ touch, like Royal Langkawi Yacht Club and Royal Selangor Yacht Club.

There are many water falls here, I bet Malaysian know only 2 or 3 water falls in their mind. But for nature and adventure lover, there are tens of water falls to visit, maybe hundred waiting to be explored.

Water falls in Malaysia mainly scattered along the backbone of Malaysia – the Titiwangsa Range of Mountain. That’s why Melaka is not in the list of water falls, Titiwangsa Range of Mountain stop at Negeri Sembilan, no water falls in Melaka and you can found water falls again in Johor starting at the border of Melaka-Johor.

The lost world of Malaysia



For adventure type and nature lovers, the word ‘The Lost World’ sounds so intriguing to them. The word lost world remind us of movies like Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones and The Lost World of Atlantis.

The mysteries and new findings in The lost world will motivate people to explore it. The lost world always describe like very remote area, no inhabitant, usually prohibited areas by the natives, no basic land access and usually surrounded with misty jungle.
