Coconut tree is common for Malaysian. For ages all part of the coconut tree has been used by the locals. For example the leaves stick are used to make traditional broom or Sate skewers. Leaves itself are used to make ketupat. The shoots also can be eaten.

Of course coconut drinks is number one natural thirst quencher. We can get the coconut drink at every part of Malaysia. Usually at the road side . Coconut Shake can be found easily along the road. Price around RM1.50 to RM2.00. The recipe is very simple that we also can do it ourselves. We Just need a coconut, the coconut pulp, ice cube, full cream milk, vanilla ice cream and a little of ice cream soda. Put it all together into an electric blender.
