Malaysia My Second Home available to foreign spouses of Malaysians

As you know Malaysia My Second Home Programme (MM2H) is promoted by the Government of Malaysia to allow foreigners who fulfill certain criteria, to stay in Malaysia for as long as possible on a multiple-entry social visit pass.
The Social Visit Pass is initially for a period of ten (10) years, and is renewable.
Government already appoint authorized agent to deal with Malaysia My Second Home Programme.
But effective on 9th January, 2009 foreign citizens may apply to participate in MM2H programme directly, without going through any other third party.
Now foreign spouses of Malaysians also can enroll to this programme:

pekyee@thestar.com.myLONDON: The Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme will be made available to foreign spouses of Malaysians from next Tuesday.
Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen said this was approved in the last Cabinet meeting.
She said her ministry and the Immigration Department would study the terms and conditions for these applicants.
Once approved, they would get a 10-year visa like any other MM2H participants, she said.
“Like other MM2H participants, they will be subjected to all the conditions.
