This week from 9-11 April 2010 will be the battle of the horses. Not the typical horse race but more about the physical fitness and mental fitness of the rider itself. The kind of race are famous among the royals. Malaysia Royal Highness Yang Di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal himself participating in the Endurance Championship around the world. For MGIER’2010, the starting grid of the horse is at Hang Jebat Stadium. The competition is by invitation only and will be open by Melaka Governor Tun Datuk Seri Utama Khalil bin Yaakob.
Like last year the Endurance circuit will be 40, 80 or 120 km. For the endurance race, the track is not like normal horse race on dirt of turf, the track is as natural as it is and the rider must go trough steep path, village road, small forest or riding in the night. Public are invited to see the competition.
