Satu lagi perkara yang paling memalukan Malaysia.
Penggunaan bas London untuk promosi Melaka. Sungguh tak relevan. Dah lah kena jajah dgn British.
Boleh berbangga pula dgn bas London merah tu.
Bas London merah tak pernah ada siknifikannya utk negeri Melaka ini, kenapa itu dijadikan tarikan.
Dah takde sgt ke bas buatan Malaysia yg boleh dijadikan tarikan pelancong.
Bila saya memikirkan tohmahan “Malingsia” oleh puak ekstrimis Indonesia, saya terfikir,
mungkin ada benarnya……..

Take example the boats plying Boat Quay and Clark Quay, it really makes the tourist mesmerize with the boat design.
One may recalled the old days where those boat congesting the river and bring memories back.
It also shows the true heritage of their culture, not some big yellow boat imported from who know where ( maybe China) that does not have any significance to Malay Culture.

It is indeed a good idea, but where’s the originality,authencity and malayness of the service. We Malaysians are famous for copycat. Among complaints from the tourist is that, they want to feel, taste and enjoy the Malay culture. But who’s offering??? All this boatride/taxi maybe good for local tourist, since we do not have this in our country yet.

If I am not mistaken, am I right that the water taxi service have encounter some splashing problems? I was told that due to the powerful engine, the taxi is creating big waves that are creating havoc along the river especially if it speed along the river. The service has been halted and changed to take tourists to see the islands along the Melaka coast. Please correct me if I am wrong. TQ
