Today 31st August 2008 Malaysia celebrate Nation Independence. Malaysia got it’s Independence dated back 51 years ago from British. Before that, Malaysia have about 600 years of colonial history from Portuguese, Dutch, Japs, Communist and British. This year motto is “Unity is the core of Success”. The logo is below. The figure bond at the logo represent all races in the nation united to safeguarding national peace.

Yellow… in Malay custom yellow mean Royalty and every Royal Events will have many yellow equipment,yellow carpet yellow dress and anything. Yellow color also means cheerful, other culture like Japan stated yellow as the color of courage. But for me yellow means warded. Yes I’m warded again as my baby turn yellow. A yellow skin baby also called a Jaundice. Early in the morning I notice my baby eye was a bit yellow then ask my mother for his opinion. She said its a yellow fever and I must quickly get to the hospital and see the doctor. The baby blood test turn to be 15 for Jaundice. I don’t know what is the number all about but the doctor said if the Jaundice level is 15 then my baby must undergo phototheraphy treatment. I’m really sad to hear about my baby must go for the phototheraphy but the doc said it will not hurt the baby and I can be there at my baby all the time. Okay then because at first I thought that they will take the baby and put it some place like incubator and must wear some sort like a mask or radioactive wear to enter. The truth is my baby will sit right to me at my bed.

As expected, the 8TV Summer Life Concert 2008 last Saturday drew thousand of fans mainly Chinese to MITC. One of my friends said that crowd gathered at MITC parking lot as early as 4pm. Many lovebirds came to enjoy the show with their couples and meeting friends. VIP’s that attended the Concert are Datuk Seet Har Cheow State Executive Council Committee Chairman for Culture, Tourism and Heritage, Melaka MCA Wanita chief, Datuk Kian Sit Har and veteran statesman Datuk Tan Cheng Swee. Aiyaah Datuk.. can you stand all the big bang from the sound system?

Do you believe in ghost? If you are a believer than you must be believe in Aliens. Aliens are like ghost, from our childhood to our adulthood, ghost stories are like music to our ears but we still seen the ghost in movies only. We usually afraid of the surroundings and relate it with ghost all our lifetime. But its okay, afraid is human nature. Same goes to aliens. To our grandmother maybe the term of Aliens maybe sound ‘Alien’ to them. But us, grow up with Hollywood drama and movies about E.T, Star Wars and Battle Star Galactica, Aliens are like the ghost stories, just seen em’ in movies only.

As Melaka have already known for it’s historical landmarks and diverse culture, other sectors like MICE (Convention) with additional 5 star mice facilities like MITC, Holiday Inn, the 6 star Majestic Hotel, Renaissance, Equatorial and more coming at the end of 2010 are growing rapidly. Not to mention Melaka Health tourism that starting to bring big impact to the state with more patient coming for low cost treatment but modern medical facilities.

Good news for women especially in Melaka, largest Jusco shopping complex in Malayhsia will be open in Melaka at the end of 2009. Who don’t know Jusco with it’s Jusco Card Mega Sales. About every women in the area that have Jusco shopping complex have the JCard on their purse, eagerly waiting for the Jcard day. We can expect the new Jusco will bring a massive traffic here at Jalan Panglima Awang in the future. Every time there is a Jusco Card Sales, traffic will be like this:-
