		<description>Being Malaccan, I am proud if Malacca can be listed. However, I would hope that the state do not further demolish old buildings for the sake of modernisation - as we&#039;ve seen that happened. 

Ive act brought my overseas friends and though they like it, but they were a lil dissapointed on the buildings - like the Hereen St &amp; Jonkers. They wanted authenticity like Hoi An, Vietnam. 

I do not know whether to agree with them or not, but I think we need to conserve our buildings properly and not simply destroy them. 

Also, the padang should have remained a padang - that is what many people tell me, and that one I agree.</description>
