It once use to be a small jetty for small ship park to load their stuff into the warehouse . Now the warehouse is turn into a nice restaurant. All international menus are here. The seafood here are taken fresh from the nearby fisherman village.You can pick the fish, cuttlefish, prawn,clam, crab and then the chief will cooked it. Grilled, sweet & sour , fried with flour or steam. The restaurant also served the famous Asam Pedas and all sort of thai food like tom yam.
Quayside Cafe & Seafood Restaurant is located at Jalan Quayside, 75000 Melaka. You can easily spot this place as it is along main route to Banda Hilir & Dataran Pahlawan. From Stadhuys complex go straight, first you can see the Tourist Information Centre then after that at the right is Melaka water Mill. The restaurant is just at the side of the water mill opposite to the Aldy hotel.
Apart from the restaurant outer area it also attached to a Quayside Warehouse. The warehouse is now part of the restaurant. MICE facilities also included. It can cater fine dining in ala carte, buffet and barbecue along the river side.
