It’s Raining With Butterfly – Butterfly Farm and Reptile Sanctuary Ayer Keroh
January 13, 2008 | Melaka, Tourism
There is an old saying “Where there is a Flower, There is a Butterfly”. In Melaka you don’t have to find many flowers to attract the butterfly in order to see them. Here we have a place called Butterfly Farm and Reptile Sanctuary located at Ayer Keroh. With a small fees you can witness over 200 butterfly species including Rajah Brooke Birdwing which is rare nowadays. This Rajah Brooke Birdwing is a butterfly from the rainforest of Borneo. You can recognized it by the distintinctive black and elcectric-green birdwing.
Creepy crawlies available here too. Maybe the owners thinks that butterfly will find a match with these reptiles like spiders, black scorpion and many race species of snake like Burmese Phyton, Albino Phyton and the King Cobra. Located about half a kilometer from the Ayer Keroh Highway exit, the butterfly and reptile farm is worth to visit.
