Experience Melaka River Cruise….

An interesting and unique tour which visitors must not miss while you are in Melaka is the Melaka River Cruise. Come and cruise up the historical Melaka River from the ‘Taman Rempah’ near the Jalan Mata Kucing and will be surprised by what you will see and smell along this unique river. Due to the tidal tide conditions, the river boat will only operate when there is high tide. So visitors interested to take this cruise are recommended to check up first on the operating times. Also, the river cruise will only operate with a minimum 8 persons per voyage.

Traditional Custom Museum

Tradition Museum

The Traditional Custom Museum is located at Alor Gajah, Melaka. Only 30 minutes from the town and the museum very nice because its building in the style of Malay house. This museum exhibitis highlight the history of Alor Gajah and the traditions and customs of Malay in particular, exspecially the wedding tradition.

Hot Beca Ride @ Melaka

Trishaw

Beca or trishaw ride was famous in Melaka. You can fun and ride with this trishaw all around the town, exspecially at Banda Hilir.
Only RM 40.00 per hour. The interesting part about Melaka trishaw are the decorative outlook blend with home made av or audio system in this tricycle. If you can see in the picture the decorating are colorful and mix with flower all over.

The Melaka Pirate Park – Nice…..

New attraction in Melaka!! Eye on Melaka is coming to town. It was located in Melaka Pirate Park at the Old Express Bus Station near Jalan Kilang, Melaka. The view of river bank is very nice and you can see the newly develop Melaka River (Venice of The East in 5 years time) from the sky when you are on board this Eye on Melaka. Also known as Ferris Wheel. The whole new attraction is known as Melaka Pirate Park, we also have a Pirate Ship and a Tramboline Bungee.

Lantern Making Competition In Conjunction With Pesta Sungai Melaka 2007

The Latern Making Competition started about 3pm on 3rd Nov 2007 at Taman Rempah, Sungai Melaka. More than 60 participation during this competition and this competition was a part of the numberous activities lined up for the ‘Pesta Sungai Melaka 2007′ celebration. Besides the Taman Rempah, there was three others venues of the celebration which will be held from Nov 1 to Nov 8. The venues was Kampung Morten, Padang Nyiru and the estuary of Sungai Melaka.

Melaka Sentral – Terminal,Bazaar & Shopping

The shopping arcade, which is located within the main building of Melaka Sentral, has become of the latest shopping destination
for both locals and visitors alike, perhaps due to its easy accessibility and the relatively cheaper prices.
Built at a cost of about RM48 million, the Melaka Sentral complex was officiated by Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on May 14 last year, during his working visit to the State.
