The Kites Museum, which is located on the second floor of the former Melaka Municipal Council headquarters, is one of the three museums located in the same building. This museum, which is located along Jalan Kota in the heart of Bandar Hilir, was opened to the public in 1995.
It exhibits numerous kites of different shapes and sizes apart from outlining the history of kites – from their usage as communication tools, in war or simply for leisure purposes. Visitors can also witness the numerous shapes of kites found in other countries including those from China, India, New Zealand and Australia.
You can visit this museum everyday. Entrance fee only RM2.00 for adult and RM0.50 for children. Their operating hours:
Monday – Thursday : 9.00 am – 5.30 pm
Friday – Sunday : 9.00 am – 9.00 pm

I’ve gone ahead and bookmarked http://asmaliana.com/blog/2007/10/24/kites-museum at Digg.com so my friends can see it too. I simply used Kites Museum | Tourism Melaka as the entry title in my Digg.com bookmark, as I figured if it is good enough for you to title your blog post that, then you probably would like to see it bookmarked the same way
