Open in 2006 with a gross area of 1.5million sq ft & net retail area of 700,000 sq ft and housing hundreds of retail outlets that includes modern shopping complex, latest fashion, local cuisine and also housing the heritage gallery, a mix of all locals handcraft & traditional item bazaar under one roof. Located at Merdeka Road, Bandar Hilir Melaka, a truly at the heart of the historical city.

Before Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall was build, the place was a field, not an ordinary football field but it has a long history back in 1957 - The Independence Day. At this place, the Proclamation of Independence was announce by Malaysia first Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman. Now the area are rebuild with Melaka Megamall modern shopping complex and the field is at the top of it.
