Situated 11km from the Melaka town, only 5 minutes drive from Ayer keroh Toll. This sanctuary opened on 1st February 1991 with 6 arce sanctuary is home to more 30 species of butterfly. The insect museum has a collection of more than 400 specimen. Since 1995, the sanctuary also exhibits a large collection of reptiles.

Visitors can experience the butterfly aviary, walking among hundreds or thousands of butterflies and learn about the variety of reptiles on show including snakes, crocodiles, turtles, lizards and others. From the biggest python to the strongest king cobra. You also can hear the happily chirping of birds at the mini bird aviary. The sanctuary also has mammals such as tapir, black giant squirrel, leopard and bearcat.
